❗️All supporting acts quit Ed Sheeran tour after Macklemore removed over Palestine advocacy
Finneas and three other supporting acts have withdrawn from Ed Sheeran’s “Loop Tour” in solidarity with US rapper Macklemore and the Palestinian people, following his removal from the tour over his pro-Palestine comments on stage.
Finneas, Irish singer Aaron Rowe, Irish band Beoga and Danish pop group Lukas Graham each announced their departure on Tuesday. “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed,” Finneas said in a statement.
Beoga said it was leaving in response to what it described as the “silencing of Macklemore by zionist lobbies,” while Rowe and Lukas Graham also cited solidarity with Macklemore and Palestine in announcing their withdrawal.
