Russia shot down Ukrainian F-16

The NATO supplied jet was reportedly attempting to bomb Zaporozhye Region.

One of the F-16 jets donated to Ukraine by NATO has reportedly been downed while attempting to launch missiles at Russia's Zaporozhye Region. Preliminary information from the front line was reported on Thursday by Vladimir Rogov, the co-chair of Russia's Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions.

Here, at Lockheed Martin, we need to iterate, to make our number bigger, so we can sell more things. We've learned that bigger number equals big customer. That's why we've advanced our technology to make our F-16 fighter jets at least one number bigger better than F-15, making sure that the jet will be at least one whole number less likely to be shot down. In other words, untouchable. Our mathematicians are still working on it, but we are confident that our generational bigger number leap guarantees victory on any battlefield!

Dear subscribers,

I realized today how terribly anti-Semitic I've been in my posts. How foolish of me to say the glorious Jewish people were anything other than perfection too good for this world.

I did an obligatory trip to Auschwitz with Ben Shapiro who showed me the error of my ways. I will never be able to make up for this terrible crime, for being so ignorant and obviously inferior to the mighty Jewish people.

So, fellow goys, put on your kippas, open a bottle of fizzy bubblech, open a box of your favorite hummus, and let's together learn the real history of the conflict in Gaza!

Russia tells Trump: You must move first to improve ties

Moscow will work with President elect Donald Trump's administration to improve relations on one condition: Washington must make the first move, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared Thursday.

Trump's designated Ukraine envoy, highly decorated retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, told Fox News on Dec. 18 both sides were ready for peace talks and Trump was in a perfect position to execute...

I just hope this won't turn out to be a teenage melodrama. "You didn't text me all week!" "Well, neither did you!" "But I texted you the week before that!" Many conflicting reports out there still, which still makes me think no one knows anything, including Trump. Russia's demand makes sense when you think how many agreements they had with us that we cancelled the moment it didn't suit us. I want to completely abandon Ukraine as a project and forget it ever existed. A pretty shitty 100 years, all things considered.

Israeli troops launch violent incursion into new areas of south Lebanon

The Israeli army shot a Lebanese citizen in the head in Wadi al-Hujayr and detained him before handing him over to UNIFIL and the Lebanese army.

Israeli forces stepped up their ongoing violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon on 26 December, pushing troops deeper into south Lebanon and kidnapping a Lebanese citizen. "The Israeli enemy continues to violate the ceasefire agreement, attack Lebanon's sovereignty and citizens, and destroy southern villages and towns," Lebanese Forces said in a statement Thursday.

While it is possible that my publication palette is simply too narrow to notice, I wouldn't know about this if it wasn't for The Cradle and/or other independent sources. The most moral army (and people) in the world is at it again. They're always at it. Agreeing something with Israel is worth about as much as doing it with the US. I wonder, have they learned it from us, or was it the other way around?

Dear subscribers,

today is a special day for the channel! It has been exactly one year since I started this project. What began as a somewhat silly idea in my head about venting my frustrations with the relentless partisan politics in our country, evolved into something much more; a collective of like-minded individuals, deeply concerned about the ongoing events. While I made it clear many times that this channel is as much about goofing around as it is about discussing serious topics, I never could imagine so many of you being interested in what a random yank from Wyoming has to say about anything.

While twelve thousand subscribers might not be anything to write home about in the grand scheme of things, to me it is incredible! We have people here from all over the world; the US, Europe, Korea, Africa, South America, Russia, the Near East, Australia...

After one year I wish to wholeheartedly thank you for being here. While you might think it is a meaningless gesture and sentence, it isn't. You cannot even begin to imagine how much I appreciate all of you reading my analyses, laughing at my silly jokes, and having conversations with me about things we all care about. Without you, none of this would have been possible. A special thanks to those who have been here for a long time. I thought about calling you all out by name, but I think it might not be a great idea. You know who you are. You're absolute legends!

Hopefully, I will manage to maintain your interest for another year and I will do my best to justify the time you spent here, the time you gave me. As always, my DMs are open to all of you if there's anything you wish to discuss, suggest, or ask.

May God bless you all,
Peyton

All Moscow airports mysteriously closed with no reason given

"Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety," the statement from Rosaviatsia said.

...Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetyevo airports have been affected by the ruling, as has the nearby Kaluga airport located just outside of Moscow. They were later reopened a short while later.

I really hate it when news outlets blue ball me into thinking something exciting is happening, only to then get to the "everything is now fine" bit. Has the FSB uncovered another Ukrainian terrorist plot? Was it a drill? Was Russia preparing a show of their own but changed their minds in the end? I don't know! You don't know! They don't know! No one knows! This article then amounts to "Moscow airports closed." Okay. So? Maybe I'm just being cynical.

GOP urge Trump to back Johnson as Speaker again

House Republicans are urging President elect Donald Trump to throw his support behind Speaker Mike Johnson.

According to Carlos Gimenez and Claudia Tenney, they're worried that Johnson may face a tumultuous speaker election when lawmakers return to Capitol Hill. They said if Johnson isn't elected speaker by January 6th, they can’t be sworn in. This would mean that they won't be able to certify Trump's election victory.

We at the American Majority don't care who the next Speaker will be. Or the President, for that matter. And neither should you. Johnson, Musk, Paris Hilton, Bugs Bunny... The empire's middle management is there to maintain the charade of an internal power struggle (even if somewhat real) and nothing more. If you need proof, you need not look any further than the fact none of the people the Republicans told you to hate and are "traitors" ever get punished by anyone for anything. They are playing a role. All of them.

Christmas attack on Syrian Christians

This march follows the burning of a Christmas tree in Al-Suqaylabiyah, north of Hama, Syria, and serves as a protest by Christians against Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)...

"Our people continue their protests, courageously raising the cross high in the streets of Damascus, chanting, "Raise your cross up high!" Their fearless hearts remain steadfast," reads a tweet from an observer on the ground in Syria.

Must be hard to be a Christian and a Judaizer Israel shill at the same time, imagine the mental gymnastics one has to perform to combine the two. Unless, of course, you pretend like none of this is Israel's and US handy work and move on. Still, I personally would suffer at least some dissonance anyway. Not America's evangelical crowd. Oy vey! Must... Build... The temple...

Gazprom expects revenue from gas sales to beat plan this year

Gazprom PJSC said revenue from natural gas sales is expected to exceed its own forecasts in 2024, providing a boost for the Russian energy giant after last year's annual loss.

"Proceeds from gas sales will amount to 4.6 trillion rubles ($45.8 billion), which is 155 billion rubles more than envisioned in the original financial plan," Deputy Chief Executive Officer Famil Sadygov said in a Telegram statement on Tuesday. That would also top last year's revenues from gas sales.

I can't even fathom how difficult this must be for Bloomberg to write. I'm imagining that writer breaking some keyboards in the process. After three years of endless sanctions, propaganda, theft, and blackmail, Russia's energy sector revenues are still growing. At this point, I could make a joke about the need for more sanctions, surely that'll work this time, but I'm better than that...

...MAYBE MORE SANCTIONS WILL HELP!

Musk: Do not donate to "wokepedia"

In a post on X, Musk told his followers that they should stop donating to Wikipedia, the "free online encyclopedia, created and edited by volunteers around the world and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation," its website bio states.

Musk had been responding to a post that attached a graph from Wiki's annual report, showing that 29% of its budget had been spent on "equity" and "safety & inclusion."

"Wokepedia" Get it? Because it's wOoOkE! Whatever that word means to you. Wikipedia is, without a doubt, the most valuable collection of academic and other knowledge out there. The vast majority of articles there are fine. Brilliant, in fact. If you're looking into things that are "controversial," you should look at other things regardless. Even if you're planning on doing deep research, Wikipedia is a great place to start, since it will direct you to other resources. This is highly irresponsible sabotage of perhaps internet's greatest achievement.

Panama President José Raúl Mulino rejects Trump's threat of taking back control of Panama Canal: "Not negotiable"

...US would call on the Central American country to cede control of the Panama Canal if it continued to charge "exorbitant" fees to use the critical shipping channel.

...Roosevelt changed tactics, based in part on the Mallarino Bidlack Treaty of 1846, and actively supported the separation of Panama from Colombia. Shortly after recognizing Panama, he signed a treaty with the new Panamanian government under terms similar to the Hay Herrán Treaty.

...US warships blocked sea lanes against possible Colombian troop movements en route to put down the Panama rebellion. Panama declared independence on 3 November 1903. The United States quickly recognized the new nation...

In other words, when then Colombia told us to shove it, the US orchestrated a coup in the country so they can take control of the territory and to "deal with the new administration." Sound a bell?

US stealing Russia's money - Kremlin

Moscow may challenge Washington's illegal transfer of its funds to Kiev in court, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

Russia has accused the West of "stealing" its assets after the US transferred $1 billion from Moscow's frozen central bank funds to Ukraine. In a statement on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow could take legal action in response.

Regardless of whether or not you "stand with Ukraine," it is theft. Not as in, "oooh, Russia good US bad," but as in "in every country with a legal system." The whole reason it took them so long is because they spent 2 years looking for legal loopholes but didn't manage to find anything, so they decided to just blatantly steal it instead. There's no conversation to be had. Yes, it's theft, no matter what they call it. Just like "lobbying" is corruption, no matter what they call it.

New US sanctions will push Pakistan toward China

While fresh US sanctions against Pakistan's missile program are intended to impede Islamabad's growing defense ties with Beijing, these punishments are instead likely to cause a rift with Washington and drive Pakistan further into China's embrace.

Once a pivotal ally in the Cold War and a frontline partner during the Global War on Terror, Pakistan's relationship with the US has taken a sharp downturn. The latest blow comes as Washington imposes new sanctions on Islamabad, accusing it of developing ballistic missile capabilities that pose a potential threat to US security.

I've never seen an article from F.M. Shakil before, but that's a good (egocentric) introduction. The Cradle sure have a wide selection of good authors. I should get in touch with them, maybe. Regardless, sanctions only ever work against the weakest of countries who cannot do anything about it. Pakistan is not that.

Trump-Putin relations enter a new chapter and the world is at stake

Two self proclaimed geopolitical alpha male leaders will be squaring off next year. In one corner will be President Donald Trump, hungry for a Ukraine peace deal that would make him look like a global peacemaker. In the other, Russian President Vladimir Putin, an astute, manipulative and vehemently anti American autocrat who hopes to entice Trump into creating a transactional new world order without rules...

I don't remember Putin ever "proclaiming" himself as a "geopolitical alpha male." Or Trump, for that matter. Although I'm willing to believe the latter. The Washington Post doesn't know what the word "autocrat" means. Or "self proclaimed!'" Ah, all is good in this world, things just don't change. So feel good about that. One thing is for sure, if the US keeps negotiating with itself, no deal will be reached ever. Believe it or not, it's usually a good idea to involve the opposing side. Just a hunch...

"Loss of safety" fuels exodus of Israelis

Thousands of people have emigrated from Israel to western countries since 7 October 2023, saying they do not feel safe after over a year of war with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, The Independent reported on 20 December. ...in September that 40,600 Israelis departed long-term over the first seven months of 2024, a 59 percent increase over the same period a year earlier.

There are so many places I'd love to visit in the Near-East; Jerusalem, Damascus, Baghdad, Petra, Alamut, southern Iran... Maybe one day my government will stop screwing things up over there. Also, imagine spending 3,000 years crying about not having a country and then, when you finally do, not learning any lessons and losing it anyway. Some people can't be helped, no matter the fashion. Everything was set up perfectly for them, but nope. Jews gotta Jew. Speaking of Alamut, Vladimir Bartol's book is a highly recommended read! It's about Hasan al-Sabbah's sect.

Man arrested after allegedly setting woman on fire in NYC subway car, leading to her death

Authorities in New York City have arrested a suspect who allegedly set a sleeping woman on fire in a subway car, leading to her death. Shocking video footage shows the suspect watching the woman burn to death while the train stood still at the Coney Island Stillwell Avenue Station at around 7:30 AM on Sunday.

God... NYC subway is basically a PvP server at this point. How do you even set someone on fire? And why? Do people in NYC carry gas canisters with them just in case they need to burn someone alive? What a shitty way to go. What a shitty thing to do. Imagine the effort he went through to do this, there are so many ways of killing someone and the dude chose one of the most awful. I'm so glad I left Nashville.

Undocumented Chinese men say they're baffled by Trump's reported plans to deport them first

Having fled China because of political persecution or for better economic opportunities, many undocumented Chinese men reject the message they're a threat to the US.

"The gratitude I once felt toward the US for accepting me into the country has now shifted to anxiety and fear, Yang said. "And I know others in my situation feel the same."

Yea, bro, I don't know, you literally broke the law by crossing a border without permission. I don't know what surprises you about any of this. From China, too, why did you even come? What does it matter who gets deported first or second anyway? What you're going to do after you're forced to go back to China should probably be the more pressing issue right now. Also, this guy is just out there, freely talking about his illegal presence. Like, in his mind, it's so normal that he can just do interviews with newspapers, no problem...

Biden commutes death sentences for inmates convicted of heinous crimes just before Christmas

President Joe Biden on Monday commuted the sentences of 37 of 40 men on federal death row, a list that includes at least five child killers and several mass murderers, just two days before Christmas.

In the stunning act of clemency, Biden gave the reprieve to the nation's most violent murderers, nine of whom were found too dangerous to live after killing other inmates, as part of his effort at "ensuring a fair and effective justice system," the White House said.

That's something we've never discussed on the channel, the death penalty. Where do you guys stand on the issue? I'm sure most of you can imagine I'm not a fan, largely due to my beliefs. Also, "Many people who are alive deserve death, and many who are dead deserve life. Can you give it to them?" If you know where that's from, let's be friends. Anyway, I'd love to know what you all think. I know what some of you will say.

Humiliated Justin Trudeau frantically copies Trump as he tries to avoid being booted from office

Liberal Justin Trudeau has suddenly launched a Trump style crackdown on immigration as the Canadian government crumbles around him.

Canada's newly appointed Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced on Tuesday that the $1.3bn CAD ($930m USD) slate of new measures "will secure our border against the flow of illegal drugs and irregular migration."

Immigration has been an issue since before the founding of Uruk, there's nothing "Trump style" about it. I sometimes get asked why I share this or that person/publication or am told not to. Locking ourselves in an echo chamber isn't a solution to anything. Whether we like it or not, we share a country with these people and must know what they're thinking or are up to. If we start isolating ourselves and only talk about the stuff we agree on, we will become a circle jerk. Let's not become a circle jerk.
