Hello Fresh, a grocery delivery company in the UK, clearly went all-in on employing a migrant workforce.
This then backfired on Hello Fresh, as the migrants want prayer breaks, they want water breaks, they want toilet breaks and they all come from warmer places so complain about working in the refrigerated warehouse and demand breaks so they can warm up.
Eventually, the management at Hello Fresh becomes sick of these demands and the lack of productivity and sack the migrants. Then a left wing trade union steps in to defend the 'rights' of the migrants and essentially screw over Hello Fresh and force them to employ the migrants and bow to their demands.
I have very little sympathy for Hello Fresh as they were happy to employ these migrants, but this should serve as a cautionary tale for other companies.
The moral of the story: employ British workers!
