@Tbilisi_life , so you would know – there's not only fun and jokes with all the snowfall on late week.
It's a natural disaster, and people from all over the country volunteer to help suffered from snowfall, especially in mountain regions.
Civil activist Giga Makarashvili:
At dawn, three young men who had set out from Tbilisi to Guria to provide assistance reached one of the high-mountain villages in the region.
Wading through waist-deep snow, they walked for 11 hours before carefully entering a half-collapsed house, where they found a woman of about 70 wrapped in blankets.
'We were scared; we thought we were too late,' they said.
The bravest among us gently touched her shoulder, and when she opened her eyes, they told her, 'We have never been so happy.'
'Boys, my nephew must have sent you, right?!' the woman, regaining consciousness, asked.
'I have only one nephew; he lives in Tbilisi and works in the patrol police!'
They left her food and medicine, cleared the snow around the house, and are now heading to the next village.
Rezo, you will definitely see this post, and remember—you are knocking on the door of the people who saved your aunt to hand them a 5,000-lari fine!
P.S. The total fines the guys have accumulated amount to 25,000 lari.
