Men and women—but especially men—with healthy instincts have been pushed out of the literary world by boxy, progressive harpies with horn rimmed glasses, who have recast serious literature in their own image. If your story doesn't pass the Bechdel test and include at least 50% "diverse" characters, you won't be publishing. In fact if you're a man, you probably won't be publishing, and if you're to the right of Hillary Clinton, you definitely won't be publishing.

In response to this sorry situation, Imperium Press is announcing the creation of a new publishing imprint: EXETER HOUSE PUBLISHING

Exeter House Publishing was founded in 2024 to bring attention to literary voices outside the mainstream. We are not a political publishing house. We don't care about social justice. We have no agenda. All we care about is publishing good work.

Exeter House will publish literary fiction and poetry exclusively by living authors. There is a tremendous creative energy that is pent up and waiting to explode. Mainstream publishing houses want nothing to do with it, because they are publishing propaganda, not literature.
