▫️Alon Alexander, accused of multiple rapes and sex trafficking, denied bond in Miami federal court
MIAMI - A federal judge on Friday denied bond for Alon Alexander, one of the three Alexander brothers facing multiple rape and sex trafficking charges.
Judge Eduardo Sanchez ruled that Alon, 37, posed a flight risk due to his ties to Israel, where his parents and wife reside. Alon's twin brother, Oren, will have his bond hearing on Jan. 7, while their older brother, Tal, was previously denied bond in December.
The Alexander brothers are prominent figures in real estate and private security, with Oren and Tal managing high-profile celebrity clients. They are accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women across Miami Beach, New York and other cities over the past decade. Federal prosecutors have identified at least 40 victims.

BLOOMFIELD – The associate director of athletics at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield has been arrested on several counts of attempt to commit sexual abuse of a minor, the Bloomfield Police reported Monday, Dec. 30.
Sacred Heart University Associate Director of Athletic Communications Matthew Steven Janik, 39, of Seymour was arrested in Bloomfield on Dec. 30.
The charges were criminal attempted/illegal sexual contact with a victim younger than 16; attempted sexual assault involving a victim aged 13 to 15 years old, where the perpetrator is more than three years older than the victim; criminal attempt/commercial sex abuse of a minor under 15 years old; and enticing a minor by computer.

▫️Texas man accused of beating woman, kidnapping young child
SMITH COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas man accused of beating a woman and threatening to kill her and her child while driving intoxicated was recently arrested.
Ramon Martinez Jr., 30, was booked into the Smith County Jail on Dec. 23 on aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and child endangerment charges. She told police that Martinez grabbed her young child, placing the infant in the vehicle. The woman said Martinez would threaten to kill the child and her if they didn't get into the vehicle.

▫️Cheatham County, TN mother charged with sex crimes involving daughter
CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. — A Cheatham County mother is behind bars, accused of recording a sex act that also involved her 16-year-old daughter.
She is charged with especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, human trafficking for a commercial sex act, solicitation of a minor, and incest, all of which are felonies. Per the arrest affidavit, the mother told the daughter they needed money to pay their phone bill and there was a person interested in paying the mother for video of such an act.
