CADDO PARISH, La. – The Shreveport alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. hosted a workshop in honor of National Human Trafficking Month.
The sorority’s Delta Emergency Response Team partnered with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s office to teach situational awareness and prevention techniques not to become a victim of crime.

▫️Nassau County Hosts Free Online Class to Combat Human Trafficking in Northeast Florida
Addressing the insidious issue of human trafficking, Nassau County, Florida, has taken an active stance with Family Support Services hosting a free online class aimed at educating the community. Slated for January 15, from 9;00 to 10;30 a.m., the session is an effort to combat the vulnerability and recruitment practices of traffickers that plague northeast Florida—a region marred by this ongoing crisis.
