A Catholic Foundation executive has been arrested in Franklin County following an investigation into the online sexual abuse of a minor.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Catholic Foundation executive was arrested Thursday after investigators accused him of engaging in a months-long online sexual relationship with a teenage girl, exchanging sexually explicit images with her and attempting to arrange an in-person sexual encounter.
Scott Hartman, 49, faces charges including grooming, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and court documents.

▫️Victim testimony begins in sexual abuse trial for son of New Albany megachurch leaders
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Graphic testimony was heard Wednesday inside a Knox County courtroom during the first day of the trial for Gary Thomas Keesee Jr., a former church member accused of raping multiple girls over a period of years when he and the alleged victims were children.
Keesee, who has pleaded not guilty, faces 32 charges, including 13 counts of rape. Prosecutors allege the abuse occurred over roughly nine years. The prosecution began its case with testimony from a woman who said Keesee sexually abused her when she was between 5 and 8 years old.

▫️Fort Worth pastor accused of sexual assault back in jail after 2nd bond violation
Fort Worth pastor Diego Fuller has been arrested again over a second bond violation amid his ongoing sexual assault case.
Fuller, 40, was arrested Tuesday following a warrant filed for his arrest Sept. 3, court records show. Fuller is accused of entering an exclusion zone — which are specific places or areas an individual is prohibited from entering as part of their bond conditions. It’s not clear where Fuller was when he violated this condition. Fuller is the lead pastor of Journey Fort Worth Church.

Survivors launch Protestant Accountability, naming more than 2,700 people accused across 100-plus denominations.
A new multidenominational database aims to identify, track and expose abusers within the Christian church.
Named Protestant Accountability, the nonprofit database launched in August after merging with a similar resource, Baptist Accountability. Its mission is to reveal hidden abuse and misconduct and to “promote transparency, accountability and the protection of those at risk.” The database includes photos of those accused or found guilty of sexual abuse, along with their denomination, positions held and supporting documentation. It currently lists more than 2,700 people from more than 100 denominations, including nondenominational, Pentecostal and Methodist churches.
