▫️Thailand: IPA Intervention | Five Victims Rescued, IPA Investigations Lead to Arrest
5 victims (aged between 7 to 13yr old) were rescued following an investigation by International Protection Alliance (IPA) into an online account distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through a private Telegram group.
IPA provided vital intelligence to Thai authorities, building on a previous arrest. According to Thai authorities, the suspect confessed to sexually abusing multiple children, recording the abuse, and distributing the material for financial gain.
He was charged with production, distribution, and possession of CSAM, human trafficking, child abduction, and importing illicit data into a computer system accessible to the public.

▫️Military personnel rescue 16-year-old trafficking victim in Riobamba
The Ecuadorian Army rescued a 16-year-old girl who was a victim of trafficking for sexual exploitation. The minor was taken to safety and handed over to DINAPEN for medical and legal care.

▫️Uruguay: Criminal network involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, and child trafficking dismantled
Thirty-two people remain in custody following their arrest during 32 simultaneous raids in Colonia, Canelones, and Montevideo. The operation aimed to dismantle an organization linked to drug trafficking, money laundering, and child trafficking.
Raids were conducted in Colonia del Sacramento (5), Juan Lacaze (5), Rosario (3), Colonia Valdense (3), Nueva Helvecia (12), San Luis (3), and Maroñas (1). Authorities seized weapons, drugs, ammunition, debit and credit cards, cash, cars, and motorcycles. Concurrently, searches were carried out at the Punta Rieles and Colonia prisons as part of the same investigation.
