👉🏻The answer:
A8/ Birr al-Walidayn after their death, is summarized in what the Prophet -ﷺ- said:
“For indeed it was narrated that a man from Banu Salimah came to the Prophet -ﷺ- and said: O Messenger of Allah is there any kindness left that I can do for my parents after their death? He replied: Yes, you can invoke blessings on them, seek forgiveness for them, carry out their final instructions after their death, join ties of relationship which are dependent on them, and honour their friends”.
[Narrated by: Abu Dawud (5142)].

🔹Shaikh Abd al-Aziz Bin Baz -May Allah have mercy upon him- said regarding this Hadith:
He -ﷺ- mentioned five things:

“1- Invoking blessings on them and making Dua’ for them; and that includes the Janazah (funeral) prayer, as it is a Dua’(invocation). And invoking blessings on them (also) involves making Dua and seeking (Allah's) mercy for them.

2- Seeking Allah's forgiveness for them.

3- Carrying out the final instructions and wills that they have given before death, if it is in accordance to the Pure Shariah (Islamic Law).

4- Honoring their friends.

5- Being kind to their relatives”.

[Nuur 'Alaa Ad-Darb].

❓Today’s question❓

~Birr al-Walidayn (Kindness to parents/being dutiful to one’s parents) after their death.

Birr al-Walidayn (being dutiful to one’s parents) is one of the most important duties and religious obligations, Allah (The Exalted) orders it in many Ayat (verses of the Quran);
Allah -glorified and exalted be He- said: {Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good} [An Nisa: 36].

As being dutiful to one’s parent is one of the most important obligations, whether they were alive or dead.

And being dutiful to them during their life is done by treating them good, spending money on them, listening to them, obeying their orders, and other forms of Birr (kindness and dutifulness).

👉🏻Question:
Q8/ How should Birr al-Walidayn (being dutiful to parents) be after their death?

🔖 Do you know that it is not permissible to let your nails grow for more than 40 nights (i.e. days)

Shaykh bin Baz -may Allah have mercy on him- said:
Letting the nails grow long is impermissible for the man as well as the woman. It is not (permissible) for the woman to let her nails grow long and likewise it is not (permissible) for the man to let his nails grow long and the limit for that (i.e. not clipping the nails) is 40 nights. Therefore anything beyond that it becomes obligatory to clip the nails and likewise (the same ruling applies) to men.
📚[Fatawa Nur Alad-Darb]
https://binbaz.org.sa/fatwas/11252/%D8

Shaykh Abdurazzaq al-Badr -may Allah preserve him- said:
Regarding the clipping of the nails (i.e. shortening them) then they are not to remain unclipped for more than 40 days in any circumstance. And if they happen to grow long over a short space of time then he should clip them (right away) even if it hasn’t reached 40 (days). But if forty days are reached then none of his nails should remain, because the Prophet ﷺ has set this specific time limit therefore the Muslim does not pass or go beyond it.

👉🏻The answer:

A7/ The Sunnah for the one praying is to put his shoes on his left side, if there is no one to his left, otherwise he should put them between his feet.
The Prophet Muhammed -ﷺ- said:

«When any of you prays, he should not place his sandals on his right side or on his left so that it becomes on the right of someone else, unless no one is at his left, but instead he should place them between his feet»

[Narrated by Abi Dawud (654)].

❓Today’s question❓

~The place for ones shoes during As-Salah (prayer).

It is from the Sunnah that a person prays with his shoes on, after making sure that they are free of any impurities; because the Prophet -ﷺ- used to pray with his shoes on, and He -ﷺ- said:
«Act differently from the Jews, for they do not pray in their sandals or their shoes»
[Narrated by Abi Dawud (652)].

And it is fine for someone to pray barefoot; because it has been established that the Prophet -ﷺ- sometimes prayed barefoot with no shoes on.

👉🏻Question:
Q7/ Where should the shoes be placed in case a person does not wear them whilst praying?

👈🏻Answer:

A6/ There is no harm in that, and there are no consequences; because saying the Talbiyah is a Sunnah Qawliyyah (verbal Sunnah).

-And when Shaikh Abd al-Aziz Bin Baz -May Allah have mercy upon him- was asked about this matter...

He -May Allah have mercy upon him- answered:
“Nothing is upon you; because the Talbiyah is Sunnah (supererogatory).
Therefore when a person enters the state of Ihram whether he is from the people of Makkah or from other then Makkah, it’s legislated for him to say the Talbiyah, just as the Prophet -ﷺ- used to do,
But if he failed to utter the Talibyah or if it was delayed, it wouldn't harm him. Because the Talbiyah is a Sunnah Qawliyyah (verbal Sunnah), and what's obligatory is that he intends the Holy rituals of Hajj or ‘Umrah or both of them with his heart,
And then after that he says Talbiyah as that’s better.
He says clearly with his tongue:
«Allahumma Labbaika Hajjan (O my lord, here I am, at Your service doing Hajj»
Or «Allahumma Labbaik ‘Umrah (O my lord, here I am, at Your service doing ‘Umrah)», when he is entering the state of Ihram, and getting into the car or mounting his riding beast”.

[Majmu’ Fatawa Shaikh Ibn Baz -May Allah have mercy upon him- (17/76)].

❓Today’s Question❓

~The performance of Umrah is from the most virtuous of deeds.

•Abu Hurairah -May Allah be pleased with him- reported:
That the Messenger of Allah -ﷺ- said: "(The performance of) 'Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous 'Umrah; and the reward of al-Hajj al-Mabrur (i.e. the accepted hajj) is nothing but Jannah" [Collected by al-Bukhari (1773)].

Therefore it is incumbent upon us to learn about and be well-versed with regards to some of its important rules.

👈🏻 Question:
Q6/ A person went to perform ‘Umrah or Hajj, and he forgot to say the Talbiyah (devotional prayer after making the intention to enter into the state of Ihram) at the Meeqaat (a station for assuming the state of Ihram) and he passed it.
What are the consequences upon someone if he passes the Meeqaat without saying the Talbiyah?
