The chart shows a detailed breakdown of students employment across British nations in the year 2001.
Overall, the great majority of pupils were permanently employed in all four countries, whereas the least popular means of working was overseas employment. It is also clear that although students from Northern Ireland had some difficulties with permanent and temporary employment, they were more hired by foreign organizations compared to others.
The permanent employment rate among students in Scotland was the highest compared to its counterparts with 43,6%. England and Wales, by contrast, recorded less significant figures amounting to 33% and 30% respectively. The figure for Northern Ireland, however, was almost twice as less as Scotland.
Regarding the temporary employment, English students were hired more by 3% than those in Scotland for temporary works. Scotland herself amounted to 20% of temporary employed students, whereas the other nations accounted for more or less 10%.
Overseas employment, on the other hand, was almost equally common in Scotland, England and Wales ranging from 2% to 3%. However, northern Ireland lead the pack with her 5% overseas student workers.
Estimated score is 7.5
