Reports from multiple sources, including The Times of Israel and the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel, claim that Israel offered to transfer captured Russian-made weapons, seized from groups like Hezbollah, to Ukraine.

The alleged proposal was made by Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel to Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel. While seemingly significant, this suggestion is riddled with practical and political challenges. Such a transfer would require approval from Israel’s defense establishment and likely the Prime Minister, given the serious geopolitical consequences. Any move to provide Russian-made (or other) weapons to Ukraine would inevitably provoke a response from Moscow—a factor Israel has always carefully weighed in its foreign policy.

If this proposal isn’t outright fabrication, its execution is quite improbable. What’s far more plausible is that this is yet another PR stunt orchestrated by the expired president of Ukraine and his backers. At a time when both President Trump and President Putin have expressed readiness to discuss peace, provocations like this serve only to derail potential diplomatic efforts.

The extensive promotion of this “offer” (especially in the English-language Ukrainian media) suggests it’s less about substance and more about spectacle. It's a deliberate distraction aimed at stoking tensions and maintaining the conflict. For those truly seeking peace, such stunts are both transparent and counterproductive.

For context:
To date, Israel has not transferred any weapons to Ukraine. However, the U.S. has transferred approximately 150,000 artillery shells from its stockpiles in Israel to Ukraine, a move authorized by the U.S. and not Israel itself. Israel has consistently refrained from providing lethal military aid to Ukraine, limiting its support to humanitarian assistance despite repeated Ukrainian requests.

What Trump's Return Means for Us

The long-anticipated inauguration of Donald Trump is now history. Within the framework of this public spectacle, many significant points were raised, allowing us to foresee potential global shifts in the coming years. What did Trump declare as his first steps and goals for this term?

1. Ending Uncontrolled Migration

A state of emergency was declared on the border with Mexico, and Mexican cartels were designated as international terrorist organizations:

"And we will begin the process of returning millions upon millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came."

Comment: This was the cornerstone of his campaign and unsurprising.

2. Return to Traditional Energy Sources

Trump announced the end of the so-called "Green New Deal" and withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement.

Comment: Predictable, as this aligns with his campaign promises. It also fits perfectly with the slogan "Make America Great Again," which was reiterated during the inauguration.

3. Ending Government Censorship

Trump pledged to sign an executive order to end government censorship and restore "free speech" in America.

Comment: A challenging promise to deliver. Outwardly, it may appear effective, but behind the scenes, such a promise is unlikely to be fully implemented. However, this could strike a blow against the Democrats, and even creating the illusion of freedom would boost Trump's domestic standing.

4. Canceling the LGBT Agenda

"As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female."

Comment: Another campaign promise. This is less of a blow to his opponents and more of a challenge that will mobilize them. It is likely to deepen the already serious divides within American society.

5. Confronting China

Trump promised to reclaim control of the Panama Canal from China.

Comment: Another expected move. His anti-China rhetoric aligns with his "Make America Great Again" mantra, which includes bringing production back to the U.S. Escalation with China was predictable and will likely include protective tariffs, which could spark a trade war. While currently an economic confrontation, it has the potential to escalate further.

6. Sending American Astronauts to Mars

Trump set a goal to send American astronauts to Mars.

Comment: Ambitious but almost impossible within the next four years. A return to the Moon is more feasible, but even that remains incomplete despite promises during his previous term. Mars remains a distant dream, but the slogan resonates with the public.

Overall, Trump’s initial promises suggest a focus on internal U.S. issues, with little mention of NATO, the EU, or international matters outside of China. Notably, the "Ukrainian agenda" was entirely ignored.

This inward focus benefits us for now. Trump seems intent on consolidating Republican power domestically, potentially laying the groundwork for their long-term dominance.

The real test will come in the first high-level talks between the presidents of Russia and the U.S., which may signal the future direction of their relationship—but quick agreements should not be expected.

So far, that's how everything looks from our perspective.

Dangerous Canyon, Kamchatka

Dangerous Canyon is a part of the Vulkannaya River valley, which runs through a gorge with steep cliffs, and drops down with a beautiful waterfall. Its height is about 60 meters, and the whole avalanche of falling water looks fantastic.

The name of the canyon speaks for itself: it is dangerous to approach the edge of the gorge, its walls are very steep and subject to rock-slide, the gorge itself is quite narrow. This canyon is not the deepest in the world, but it is certainly impressive.

Trump’s Ultimatum...

Here’s a comment from Yuriy Podolyaka that we fully endorse:

Someone needs to explain to this showman that there’s nothing left to impose tariffs on. Russia hasn’t officially supplied anything to the U.S. for three years now (and whatever it does supply is only what the U.S. cannot live without).

As for the so-called “participating countries,” they’re also buying from Russia only what they absolutely need.

In the end, it’s entirely unclear what he’s threatening us with.

It sounds flashy, sure—for his audience. But in essence? It’s foolish.

P.S. By the way, Trump has previously threatened China, Mexico, and Canada with tariffs and sanctions. This “move” with ultimatums is already his standard approach: copy-paste the same text, just swap out the country names and backdrop.

THINK AGAIN!
Trump’s First Big Bold Blunder

Today, Trump posted an absurdly outrageous message on Truth Social that's worth quoting in full.

Here it is:

"I'm not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin - and this despite the Radical Left's Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of that being said, I'm going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don't make a 'deal,' and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let's get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way - and the easy way is always better. It's time to 'MAKE A DEAL.' NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!"

What’s wrong with this message? The short answer: EVERYTHING.

But the most glaring problem is that it’s an ultimatum. And no human, no matter how self-absorbed, can give Russia ultimatums. That is a privilege reserved for God almighty and for Him alone.

Is Trump too ignorant to understand this? Very likely.

Is he too arrogant to restrain himself? Also very likely.

Did he just push the doomsday clock closer to midnight? Without a doubt.

Someone needs to put this smug peacock in his place. And once again, it looks like Russia may have to be the one to do it. Just like with other self-important peacocks—you know exactly who and what they were.

Bullets, Bodies, and Billions: Trump’s Unfiltered Worldview

Today, speaking about Ukraine, Trump said, “People are being killed at levels that nobody's ever seen. It's very level fields; the only thing that stops a bullet is a body.” This isn’t the first time he’s used this phrase. Frankly, it’s about as insightful as Kamala Harris’s infamous “what can be, unburdened by what has been.” The difference is that Trump’s line sounds more pragmatic—like most of what he says.

But seriously, has Trump never heard of trees? Or trenches? Or concrete fortifications? Or tanks? All of these effectively stop bullets and are used by soldiers on the battlefield to stay alive.

Yet, no one in America seems to question such statements. What’s going on here? Hypnosis? Or something more benign, like ignorance?

As for Trump’s pragmatism, have you noticed that he views everything through the lens of money? It’s the foundation of how he understands the world. Just keep that in mind the next time you hear him speak or respond to a question.

TikTok? “Oh, we’ll just give them permission in exchange for half of a trillion-dollar company.” Need more engineers? “No problem, we’ll get the best by paying them more.” “They don’t do what we want? We’ll impose 100% tariffs.” And so on. Trump is utterly, unapologetically convinced that everything can be resolved with money—it’s just a matter of price. He is the perfect product of American capitalism. That’s his strength and his potential weakness.

None of this is new, of course. It’s how he’s always been, including during his first term. The difference now? He’s not even trying to be subtle about it.

Everything he’s done so far in the first two days of his second presidency has been in your face. No subtitles. No caution. No concern about reelection. And, of course, no modesty. It’s all me, me, me!

We’re not saying it’s bad. In fact, it’s quite fascinating. We’re simply pointing it out for ourselves and anyone willing to see it without falling under the spell of Trump’s hypnotic theatrics—the same spell that somehow makes people nod along when he says that, in Ukraine, the only thing stopping bullets are human bodies.

In any event, one thing is certain: we’re in for some interesting times ahead.

Tank crews from the Southern Group of Forces eliminated a dugout and an artillery piece belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Chasov Yar direction.

Daily, tankers from the Southern group operate on the front lines in the Chasov Yar area, providing vital support to Russian motorized rifle units by delivering heavy firepower against enemy positions. They utilize unmanned aerial vehicles to adjust their fire and confirm target hits.

This time, using coordinates obtained from a UAV, a crew operating a T-80BV tank from the 3rd Army Corps successfully struck an enemy artillery piece concealed in a wooded area, along with a nearby dugout containing personnel.

Tank crews effectively employ closed firing positions, which allows them to engage targets at significant distances while minimizing risk to themselves. After completing their combat mission, the crew swiftly vacates the firing position to return to the rear for ammunition resupply and await new targets.

No, President Biden did not pardon himself before leaving office, as such an act would have been unprecedented and likely unconstitutional. Legal experts widely agree that a self-pardon violates the principle that no one can be a judge in their own case, undermining the rule of law and the Constitution’s intent to hold presidents accountable. A self-pardon would have sparked outrage as it could shield a president from legal scrutiny, eroding public trust in democratic institutions.

However, Biden’s decision to pardon five family members, including siblings and in-laws, is almost just as bad. These preemptive pardons were issued despite no evidence of wrongdoing, with Biden citing fears of politically motivated investigations by incoming President Donald Trump. This sets a dangerous precedent, suggesting that presidential pardon power can be used for personal protection rather than public welfare. While legally permissible, these actions blatantly undermine Biden’s earlier commitment to uphold impartial justice, tarnishing his legacy.

In general, Biden’s presidency has been marred by numerous controversies beyond the pardons, including the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal, record-high inflation, and a worsening border crisis. These issues, coupled with his administration’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and foreign policy missteps, have drawn bipartisan criticism. His approval ratings plummeted as Americans faced economic struggles and global instability during his tenure.

As historians assess Biden’s presidency, it seems likely to be remembered as one of the most tumultuous and controversial in U.S. history. From policy failures to personal scandals, Biden’s time in office has been marked by a series of crises that have left an indelible mark on the nation. For many, his administration represents a period of unprecedented challenges and contentious decisions that will continue to shape political discourse for years to come.

Viktor Orban on Europe’s Energy Crisis:

“What’s happening at Hungarian gas stations is simply outrageous.”

Orban expressed alarm over recent developments in Europe’s energy supply. “The Ukrainians have shut down the pipeline supplying gas to Hungary, and the U.S. administration’s sanctions have driven up energy prices across Europe,” he said.

The Hungarian leader warned that Europe is on the brink of another energy crisis. “Hungary must stay out of it,” Orban emphasized, acknowledging the challenge as gas station issues in Hungary are already causing public outrage.

“Our immediate task is to protect the last remaining gas pipeline from Russia to Hungary, which runs through Serbia,” he added. Orban called for unity, saying, “We must work together to shield our families and households from skyrocketing energy prices. This will be a key point in our discussions with trade unions.”

Romania's Political Stalemate: Another Blow for Brussels

Romania’s pro-EU political elites are in full panic mode. After botching the first round of the presidential elections in December last year, they now find themselves without a clear strategy.

To recap, the government-backed candidate came in third and failed to advance to the second round. The real shock, however, was the first-round victory of Călin Georgescu—a Eurosceptic akin to Hungary’s Orbán and Slovakia’s Fico.

In an undemocratic twist, the authorities annulled the election results, a blatant disregard for democratic norms. But Georgescu didn’t back down. Instead, he rallied thousands of supporters to the streets across Romania, demanding justice and change.

While European media barely mentioned these protests—unlike the overblown coverage of recent events in Tbilisi—they were undeniably effective. Current polls suggest that if elections were held today, Georgescu might win outright in the first round and would almost certainly triumph in a second round. His popularity also stems from the Romanian public’s reluctance to escalate tensions with Russia over Transnistria.

A Georgescu victory would mark a significant defeat for Brussels. Not only would it challenge the EU’s dominance in Romania, but it would also derail any plans to resolve the "Transnistrian problem" through military means.

For EU leaders, this outcome is nothing short of a nightmare—and perhaps a well-deserved one.

Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya has lauded the Gaza ceasefire agreement, but recalled that all UN Security Council’s attempts to pass resolutions were blocked by the United States.

Vasily Nebenzya expressed the hope that this agreement will be a basis for lasting peace.

"We must nor forget about the price paid by the enclave’s residents with their lives over these months. At least 47,000 Palestinians have died over the 15 months of Israel’s military operation in Gaza. There haven’t been such heavy losses among civilians since World War II," he said at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the Middle East.

He recalled that all UN Security Council’s attempts to pass resolutions demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip were blocked by the United States.

"The US was doing everything it can not to let the Security Council hinder Israel’s actions on the ground, citing its so-called quiet diplomacy," Nebenzya said.

The Russian diplomat stressed that the implementation of the "two-state formula" endorsed by the UN resolutions is the only way to lasting peace in the region. He also called on Israel to stop its settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories.

"The world must rise to the defense of the ceasefire, support initiatives to ensure safe and unimpeded humanitarian access and re-launch talks on the basis of international law," he said.

Nebenzya pledged that Russia will continue monitoring the implementation of the deal and support peaceful settlement efforts.

On January 22, 1440, Ivan III, the future Grand Prince of Moscow and the great unifier of Russia, was born into a turbulent era that would define his legacy as a key figure in Russian history. He was the son of Vasily II (Vasily the Dark), the Grand Prince of Moscow, and Maria Yaroslavna, the daughter of the appanage prince of Yaroslavl. Ivan was born on the feast day of St. Timothy, which led to him being given the name Timofey at birth. Later in life, he was renamed Ivan — likely upon his ascension to the throne.

Growing up in the court of his father, Ivan witnessed the dramatic and often violent political struggles of the time. His father’s reign was marked by intense battles for power, and young Ivan was deeply involved in the turbulent politics that surrounded his family. These formative years shaped his ambitions, and Ivan was determined to secure Moscow’s dominance in the region.

Ivan III is best known for his role in consolidating the Russian lands and laying the foundation for the powerful Russian state. His most significant achievement was liberating Russia from the Mongol yoke, a monumental event that ended over two centuries of Mongol domination. Ivan expanded Moscow’s influence, annexing vast territories and uniting many of the Russian principalities under his rule, earning the title of Grand Prince of All Rus.

Through his military victories, strategic marriages, and state-building efforts, Ivan III became one of Russia’s most important rulers, earning the title "The Great" for his role in unifying and expanding the Russian lands. His reign marked a turning point in Russian history, transforming Moscow from a regional principality into the nucleus of a burgeoning Russian empire.

Ukrainian 'warriors of light' sold Swedish grenade launchers to Sudan.

High-tech weapons supplied by NATO countries to Ukraine continue to spread around the world's conflict zones and drug cartel bases.

The above video has been published on X, showing Sudanese military traveling on motorized vehicles equipped with Swedish-made grenade launchers “Pansarskott m/86” AT4.

The use of high-tech weapons by Mexican drug cartels has also become a concern for American military and politicians. On August 9, 2023, retired U.S. Army General Paul Vallely authored an article titled “Weapons given to Ukraine may now be used against US soldiers at Mexico border," in which he states:

"The weapons used in the war in Ukraine are now allegedly showing up right on the other side of our southern border. Our elected leaders at the state legislature and county board of supervisors/commissioners had better do something about this quickly. If these cartels decide to unite and cross over the southern borderline, our local sheriffs and border patrol would be dusted and rolled over in a heartbeat. They cannot stand up to this kind of firepower.

The first video [attached to the article] depicts a cartel member carrying an AT4-M136. It is a shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon. It can punch through an armored vehicle and vaporize anyone inside. The US Military uses it. Sweden supplied fifteen thousand, and 6,000 provided by the United States for the war in Ukraine."

Another video on YouTube allegedly shows Mexican militants shooting 50-caliber machine guns. These were never seen in Mexico before, but Ukraine has received a lot of them from NATO countries.

These are the consequences of supplying weapons to Ukraine, now profoundly impacting the safety of people across continents far from the war zone.

It is evident that the main highlight of the rather amusing inauguration of the U.S. President was the dialogue between the leaders of Russia and China, held after yesterday's event. This conversation served as the best proof of the multipolarity of the modern world and the strategic partnership between our nations. Once again, it became clear to everyone that the contemporary world is not interested in the so-called "golden age of America," theatrically proclaimed by Donald Trump yesterday, but in the development and prosperity of all humanity.

Together, Let’s Make the World Better!
