It dawned on me how little I care about politics and what a great victory for Fascism that is.
It's easy to imagine a liberal who doesn't really care about politics. He just goes about his day being a liberal. They ask him at the grocery store "would you like to donate 1$ to the Ukraine" and he goes "of course, yes".
If you asked me at the grocery store, "would you like to donate 1$ to the victims of black crime" I would say "ya vol".

It might be an exaggeration to say I don't care at all. I can enjoy the odd news story, and pay a little attention here and there. Deep political theory bores me. It's just not my interest. It's only by virtue of a more general curiosity that I can (debatably) muster enough brain power to do a podcast. I will probably never read Spengler.

I think I've found some ilk in this. Your average fashy shitposter has a wide-ranging variety of interests, which may or may not include politics, metapolitics, history, philosophy etc.

🇺🇸 ✈ August 10th is the day Richard Russell (Sky King), a distraught white guy stole a Horizon Air Bombardier Q400 aircraft for an ecstatic joyride. Two McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighters were scrambled to intercept him, one of the pilot's spoke to Russell. His gleefully humble remarks represented how many young white men feel in a world displaced from them. Russell with his newfound freedom, proceeded to perform a barrel roll, before fatally nose diving onto Ketron island.
