I once spent a month doing 100 push ups every day because my brother challenged me to. I challenge you to do 20 every day in January. All at once or break them up in sets, but do them.




Maybe 5-10-20 push ups is too hard for you right now but is you are going to #losecovid19lbs you should start with some calisthenics. Start with push ups or a variation every morning, and before bed.

Monday : run 2 miles out from a location . Run 2 back trying to beat 14 :55

Tuseday: pick up a heavy thing and put it down

Wednesday: sprints in gear

Thursday: beat the shit out of each other in gear

Friday: guess what you're going for a run while wearing a gas mask

Satuarday: ruck March in full combat loadout (this is all the ammo food water and gear you think youd carry )

Sunday: go to the range and practice


Morning routine

Today is the last day of regular carbs for me for a while. Despite the season, a cuts the reason. Summer bodies are made in Winter.
Planning on 225 G protein and 100 carbs per day for a week with Friday night off (family homemade pizza night is important)

3. Go to 10:30
Fireman’s carry.
You can complete this with a buddy, and probably should. If your buddy can’t carry you and you can’t carry him... you might run into some issues after the inevitable.
This is a great exercise with or without the gun range.
I would add a drag. Firefighters have to quality with a carry and a drag. Don your cheapest plate carrier an a beat up pair of pants and let your buddy drag you from station to station.
If you have more than one buddy, practice the leap frogging that they do in the vid.




2. Skip the speech and go to 8:00
This is and interesting variation on the lunges that we saw Williams deploy. They are using a weighted bag, but you could use a sand bag, a mulch bag or a really unlucky child. This also makes one rely on one hand to complete all reloads. Recall the Miami Dade shooting taught us that sometimes, during the inevitable one might find themselves having to reload one handed.


1. Shooting with a resistance tether.
Using two resistance bands, connect them and have the shooter and a stoker place the band over their shoulders and hold air at their waist. This is a great way to get you buddy involved, build some camaraderie and have fun. Raise your heard rate and struggle with an unpredictable load level.
