The South Korean defense procurement agency DAPA is reported to have completed testing of the promising South Korean long-range anti-aircraft missile and tactical missile defense system L-SAM. It is stated that L-SAM has a target engagement altitude of up to 50-60 km. The deployment of the complex is scheduled for 2028. Work has already begun on the creation of a modified version of the L-SAM Block II air defense system.
