◾️The death toll from Israel's genocide in Gaza has risen to 8,796. 3,648 children and 2,290 women are amongst the dead, accounting for 70 per cent of the total.

◾️Less than 24 hours after Israel’s massive bombing of Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp, Israel perpetrated a second massacre in Jabalia, with its strikes wiping out more entire families. In addition to scores of Palest!inians killed yesterday, seven Israeli civilian hostages were also killed including three foreign passport holders according to Hamas.

◾️UNICEF has called Gaza “a graveyard for thousands of children,” as children represent around half of the dead.

◾️The Palestinian Ministry of Health has warned that Gaza’s largest hospitals, Al-Shifa and the Indonesian Hospital, are hours away from being out of service if they don’t receive fuel. The Turkish Friendship Hospital, the only cancer hospital in Gaza, has announced that it has already run out of fuel and is therefore out of service.

◾Children prayed for peace on Saturday in the Holy Family Church, Gaza's only Catholic church, as bombs can be heard exploding in the background.

◾The church compound has turned into a refuge for many seeking shelter, including four Christian families whose homes were destroyed by Israeli air strikes.

◾In 2014, some segments of the church were partially destroyed by an Israeli air strike on a nearby house and it was again damaged in 2021 by: another Israeli air strike.
