🦌 Open and Hacker Leagues
Season 7 of the Open League is over, and the Hacker Hackathon has already chosen the finalists. But, as usual, it was not without its problems.
The Open League was held without much enthusiasm on the part of the participants. Some of them still tried hard in the beginning, but at the end they simply gave up because of the non-transparency of the accruals. Many of them had a negative final result - here is a good example 🙄
I was ranked 18th at the start, but by the end I was already 180th. Other than the NFT mint to participate, I didn't do anything specifically for the league. We'll see what happens next and what reward I get for it.
The hackathon was not without scandals either. In the chat room there is a terrible dissatisfaction with the fact that projects that do not comply with the rules made it to the finals. They even made a list of such projects. In addition, projects that have been operating since spring were selected, which caused surprise. Why should an already functioning project participate in the hackathon and take the prize from those who worked and wrote code strictly within the allotted time? It is not clear.
In the end, we have two initiatives from the TON Foundation, which caused discontent among the remaining users of the ecosystem. Why the remaining users? Because many have already left for other, more active and profitable blockchains. And we stay in our swamp and continue to try to build the future and give each other presents in Telegram 🎁
