CHRISTIANITY AND TRINITY WAS INVENTED IN 325AD.
Who has had this as an objection to deny Christ or someone has tried to belittle Christianity, I have and here is what I say, to respond at the same time we can profess the gospel. I start with the book of Romans and inform them scholars in the main state it was written approximately 57–58AD. We see the term “Godhead” used in 1:20.
The question to clarify here is what the term “Godhead” meant to the 1st century people? It was the "Oneness doctrine, a doctrine that states that there is one God, a singular divine Spirit, who manifests himself in many ways, including as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, this is some 300 years before the Council of Nicaea. I mentioned the Council of Nicaea in 325AD, because deniers make horrendous false claims about this period of history, such as the title i used for this post.
This is actually where the formation of the first uniformed understanding across Christendom, across the Roman Empire was agreed. Plus the divinity of Christ, and the theological understanding into the world view of the Christian God was debated, in particular the God Head against Sabellianism from Egypt. Sabellianism in the Eastern church or Patripassianism in the Western church is the belief that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three different modes or aspects of God, as opposed to the Trinitarian view of three distinct persons within the Godhead.
The Council of Nicaea was not the start of Christianity or the invention of the Trinity, the bible was not written here and Paul was laughably not invented here, each of these claims are debunked with the tiniest bit of research.
The bible was in full circulation by this point in history, but other books were in circulation in the 2nd and 3rd century, these were claimed to be inspired, and cults like sabellianism arose and started twisting the Christian message as they do today. An official cannon of 66 books, was needed but once again this was also not done here either. We know of The Muratorian Canon, which is believed to date to 200 A.D. This is the earliest compilation of canonical texts resembling the New Testament some 125 years before Nicaea.
May the peace of Christ be with you all.
