🏴☠️ Report | Interview with an American network featuring one of the main perpetrators behind the design of Hezbollah pager explosions:The operation started ten years ago. Not with pagers, but with military radios. A bomb with a radio inside the battery is an explosive device.
Hezbollah purchased over 16,000 of these explosive radios, which Israel did not activate for ten years until three months ago.
But radios are only used in warfare, so Mossad started developing a new device that Hezbollah fighters always kept in their pockets: a pager. A pager is nearly obsolete worldwide, but Hezbollah still uses it.
We have an incredible range of possibilities for creating foreign companies with no way to trace them back to Israel. Fake companies impact the supply chain more than actual companies in our favor. We create a fake world.
In 2022, we learned that Hezbollah was purchasing pagers from a company in Taiwan called Gold Apollo. To place explosives inside them, we had to adjust the size, but not too much.
Mossad used mannequins to conduct tests with pagers in a padded glove to get the temperature of the explosives to the necessary level to harm the individual.
Mossad also tested ringtones to find a sound urgent enough to make someone pull it out of their pocket. They tested how long it would take for a person to respond to a pager: on average, seven seconds. But how could Hezbollah be convinced to switch to this bulkier pager?
I remember the day I went to our manager, placed it on the table, and he got angry. He said, “No one would buy such a big device; it doesn’t fit in their pocket, it’s too heavy, it’s not good. Go back and bring something else for me.” It took two weeks to convince him that, although ugly, it was worth it.
Special features were added, which they promoted in fake ads on YouTube: strong, dustproof, waterproof, long battery life. We made videos and brochures and posted them online. It became the best product in the region and the world.
Mossad wanted to use the name Gold Apollo on their pager. Therefore, fake companies, including one in this building in Hungary, were set up to deceive the Taiwanese into partnering with them.
To advance the work, Mossad hired a seller who Hezbollah had previously worked with. He offered the first batch of pagers as a free upgrade. By September 2024, Hezbollah had 5,000 pagers in their pockets.
Mossad’s chief allowed the attack to begin on September 17th, at 3:30 pm. The pagers across Lebanon started buzzing.
Host: As I understand it, the people with these pagers received a message saying: “You have an encrypted message. To access it, press two buttons.”The next day, Mossad finally activated radios that had been inactive for ten years. Some of them were broadcast during the funeral of those killed by the pagers. In total, about 30 people, including two children, lost their lives, and about 3,000 were injured.
The goal wasn’t and have to kill Hezbollah forces both. If they died, fine, but if they were injured, they had to be taken to the hospital, cared for. You need to invest and make an effort for those people who have lost hands and eyes.
