STROKE

Stroke is the sudden death of neurons in localized brain areas due to inadequate blood supply to that area.
A stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures and bleeds, or when there’s a blockage in the blood supply to the brain. The rupture or blockage prevents blood and oxygen from reaching the brain’s tissues. Without oxygen, brain cells and tissue become damaged and begin to die within minutes.
It can be characterized with reversible and irreversible paralysis and other symptoms.
It is also called CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENT OR BRAIN ATTACK

CAUSES

1. Heart diseases
2. Hypertension
3. High cholesterol in blood
4. High blood sugar
5. Heavy smoking
6. Heavy alcohol consumption

TYPES

ISCHEAMIC STROKE
IsCheamic stroke occurs due to interruption of blood supply or flow to a part of the brain by thrombus or atherosclerotic embolus.

HEMORRHAGIC STROKE
Tho stroke is developed due to the rupture of a blood vessel in the brain, there by stopping the flow of blood to a particular area.

SYMPTOMS

1. Dizziness
2. Loss of consciousness
3. Coma or death
4. Weakness
5. Numbness or paralysis, particularly on one side of the body
6. Impairment of speech
7.loss of memory
8.loss of coordination
9.Emotional disturbance

The loss of blood flow to the brain damages tissues within the brain. Symptoms of a stroke show up in the body parts controlled by the damaged areas of the brain.

The sooner a person having a stroke gets care, the better their outcome is likely to be. For this reason, it’s helpful to know the signs of a stroke so you can act quickly.

Some helpful health tips👌.

FIVE(5)🖐 FRUITS/FOODS THAT WILL BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.

📌CITRUS FRUITS

Most people turn to vitamin C after they've caught a cold. That’s because it helps build up your immune system. Vitamin C is thought to increase the production of white blood cells. These are key to fighting infections.
Popular citrus fruits include:
👉Grapefruit
👉Oranges
👉Tangerines
👉Lemons
👉Limes.

📌PAPAYA(PAW-PAW)

Papaya is another fruit loaded with vitamin C. Papayas also have a digestive enzyme called papain that has anti-inflammatory effects.
Papayas have decent amounts of potassium, B vitamins, and folate, all of which are beneficial to your overall health.

📌GINGER

Ginger is another ingredient many turn to after getting sick. Ginger may help decrease inflammation, which can help reduce a sore throat and other inflammatory illnesses. Ginger may also help decrease nausea.
While it's used in many sweet desserts, ginger packs some heat in the form of gingerol, a relative of capsaicin. Ginger may help decrease chronic pain and may possess cholesterol-lowering properties, according to recent animal research.

📌POULTRY

When you’re sick, chicken soup is more than just a feel-good food with a placebo effect. It helps improve symptoms of a cold and also helps protect you from getting sick in the first place. Poultry, such as chicken and turkey, is high in vitamin B6. About 3 ounces of light turkey or chicken meat contains 40 to 50 percent of your daily recommended amount of B6.
Vitamin B6 is an important player in many of the chemical reactions that happen in the body. It’s also vital to the formation of new and healthy red blood cells. Stock or broth made by boiling chicken bones contains gelatin, chondroitin, and other nutrients helpful for gut healing and immunity.

📌YOGURT

Look for yogurts that have "live and active cultures" printed on the label, like Greek yogurt. These cultures may stimulate your immune system to help fight diseases. Try to get plain yogurts rather than the kinds that are preflavored and loaded with sugar. You can sweeten plain yogurt yourself with healthy fruits and a drizzle of honey instead.
Yogurt can also be a great source of vitamin D, so try to select brands fortified with vitamin D. Vitamin D helps regulate the immune system and is thought to boost our body’s natural defenses against diseases

Fallopian Tube Problems

Problems with the fallopian tubes also account for a significant percentage of infertility cases. Sometimes, the tubes may be blocked or they may be scarred as a result of disease or infection.
When an egg is released from one of the ovaries, it travels through one of the fallopian tubes, which are narrow ducts that connect the ovaries to the uterus. Normally, the egg will join with the sperm in the fallopian tubes during conception and the now-fertilized egg will continue on to the uterus. However, the fallopian tubes are extremely fragile. If they are blocked, there's no way for the egg to become fertilized by the sperm.

The fallopian tubes can be damaged by diseases such as endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, infections and sexually transmitted diseases

Getting pregnant when you have fallopian tubes problem

To determine whether your fallopian tubes are blocked, your doctor may suggest a laparoscopy or a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). In an HSG test, liquid dye is inserted by catheter through the vagina (cervix) into the uterus. Then, X-rays are taken to see if there is a blockage or if the dye flows freely into the abdomen. Another method of HSG can be done with ultrasound instead of X-ray and that uses saline and air or foam. If you have problems with your fallopian tubes, your doctor may recommend surgery to correct the damage or unblock the tubes.
If you're ovulating normally, your doctor might also consider assisted reproduction techniques that bypass the fallopian tubes entirely. These can include intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), artificial insemination directly into the uterus (IUI) and in vitro fertilization

MISCARRIAGE

A miscarriage, or spontaneous abortion, is an event that results in the loss of a fetus before 20 weeks of pregnancy. It typically happens during the first trimester, or first three months, of the pregnancy.

Miscarriages can happen for a variety of medical reasons, many of which aren’t within a person’s control. But knowing the risk factors, signs, and causes can help you to better understand the event and get any support or treatment you may need.

SIGNS OF MISCARRIAGE

The symptoms of a miscarriage vary, depending on your stage of pregnancy. In some cases, it happens so quickly that you may not even know you’re pregnant before you miscarry.

Here are some of the symptoms of a miscarriage:

heavy spotting

bleeding in the female private part

discharge of tissue or fluid from your private part

severe abdominal pain or cramping

mild to severe back pain

Call your doctor right away if you experience any of these symptoms during your pregnancy. It’s also possible to have these symptoms without experiencing a miscarriage. But your doctor will want to conduct tests to make sure that everything is fine.
MISCARRIAGE TYPES

There are many different types of miscarriage. Depending on your symptoms and the stage of your pregnancy, your doctor will diagnose your condition as one of the following:

Complete miscarriage: All pregnancy tissues have been expelled from your body.

Incomplete miscarriage: You’ve passed some tissue or placental material, but some still remains in your body.

*Missed miscarriage*: The embryo dies without your knowledge, and you don’t deliver it.

Threatened miscarriage: Bleeding and cramps point to a possible upcoming miscarriage.

Inevitable miscarriage: The presence of bleeding, cramping, and cervical dilation indicates that a miscarriage is inevitable.

Septic miscarriage: An infection has occurred within your uterus.

*MISCARRIAGE CAUSES*

Genetic or chromosome issues

Examples of these chromosome abnormalities include:

Intrauterine fetal demise: The embryo forms but stops developing before you see or feel symptoms of pregnancy loss.

*Blighted ovum*: No embryo forms at all.

Molar pregnancy: Both sets of chromosomes come from the father, no fetal development occurs.

Partial molar pregnancy: The mother’s chromosomes remain, but the father has also provided two sets of chromosomes.
Underlying conditions and lifestyle habits
poor diet, or malnutrition

drug and alcohol use

drug and alcohol use

advanced maternal age

untreated thyroid disease

issues with hormones

uncontrolled diabetes

infections

trauma

obesity

problems with the cervix

abnormally shaped uterus

severe high blood pressure

food poisoning

certain medications

MISCARRIAGE PREVENTION

Not all miscarriages can be prevented. However, you can take steps to help maintain a healthy pregnancy. Here are a few recommendations:

Get regular prenatal care throughout your pregnancy.

Avoid alcohol, drugs, and smoking while pregnant.

Maintain a healthy weight before and during pregnancy.

Avoid infections. Wash your hands thoroughly, and stay away from people who are already sick.

Limit the amount of caffeine to no more than 200 milligrams per day.

Take prenatal vitamins to help ensure that you and your developing fetus get enough nutrients.

Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables.

Remember that having a miscarriage doesn’t mean you won’t conceive again in the future. Most women who miscarry have healthy pregnancies later.

MISCARRIAGE TREATMENT
If there’s still some tissue present in your body, there are a few different treatment options:

expectant management, which is where you wait for the remaining tissue to pass naturally out of your body

medical management, which involves taking medications to help you pass the rest of the remaining tissue

surgical management, which involves having any remaining tissue surgically removed

DELAYED EJACULATION

Delayed ejaculation is a medical condition in which a male cannot ejaculate. It may occur either during intercourse or by manual stimulation with or without a partner. Ejaculation is when semen is released from the penis.

CAUSES

Most men ejaculate within a few minutes of starting to thrust during intercourse. Men with delayed ejaculation may be unable to ejaculate or may only be able to ejaculate with great effort after having intercourse for a long time (for example, 30 to 45 minutes).

Delayed ejaculation can have psychological or physical causes.

Common psychological causes include:

🎯Religious background that makes the person view sex as sinful

🎯Lack of attraction for a partner

🎯Conditioning caused by a habit of excessive masturbation

🎯Traumatic events (such as being discovered masturbating or having illicit sex, or learning one's partner is having an affair)

Some factors, such as anger toward the partner, may be involved.

Physical causes may include:

🎯Blockage of the ducts that semen passes through

🎯Use of certain drugs

🎯Nervous system diseases, such as stroke or nerve damage to the spinal cord or back

🎯Nerve damage during surgery in the pelvis

EXAMS and TEST

Exams and Tests has been expanded.

Stimulating the penis with a vibrator or other device may determine whether you have a physical problem. This is often a nervous system problem. A nervous system (neurological) exam may reveal other nerve problems that are connected with delayed ejaculation.

TREATMENT

Treatment has been expanded.

If you have never ejaculated through any form of stimulation, see a urologist to determine if the problem has a physical cause. (Examples of stimulation may include wet dreams, masturbation, or intercourse.)

See a therapist who specializes in ejaculation problems if you are unable to ejaculate in an acceptable amount of time. Sex therapy most often includes both partners. In most cases, the therapist will teach you about the sexual response. You also will learn how to communicate and guide your partner to provide the right stimulation.

Therapy often involves a series of "homework" assignments. In the privacy of your home, you and your partner engage in sexual activities that reduce performance pressure and focus on pleasure.

Typically, you will not have sexual intercourse for a certain period of time. In this time, you will gradually learn to enjoy ejaculation through other types of stimulation.

In cases where there is a problem with the relationship or a lack of sexual desire, you may need therapy to improve your relationship and emotional intimacy.

Sometimes, hypnosis may be a helpful addition to therapy. This may be useful if one partner is not willing to participate in therapy. Trying to self-treat this problem is often not successful.

If a medicine may be the cause of the problem, discuss other drug options with your health care provider. Never stop taking any medicine without first talking to your provider.

PREVENTION

Prevention has been expanded.

Having a healthy attitude about your sexuality and genitals helps prevent delayed ejaculation. Realize that you cannot force yourself to have a sexual response, just as you cannot force yourself to go to sleep or to perspire. The harder you try to have a certain sexual response, the harder it becomes to respond.

To reduce the pressure, focus on the pleasure of the moment. Do not worry about whether or when you will ejaculate. Your partner should create a relaxed atmosphere, and should not pressure you about whether or not you have ejaculated. Openly discuss any fears or anxieties, such as fear of pregnancy or disease, with your partner.

This is how they will exam you

Burning, tightness, and difficult penetration symptoms may not be at all noticeable during a pelvic exam.

For some women, these symptoms occur only during intercourse attempts. so an examination of your genital area is necessary to rule out a physical cause of vaginismus.

If the cause is psychological, your GP may refer you to a sex therapist or gynaecologist
